With Colorado getting ready for Medical Marijuana, what else is happening?

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado — The founder of a local hemp textiles company, Enviro Textiles LLC, believes Colorado is poised to enter a new era of prosperity thanks to the recent passage of Amendment 64 to the state Constitution.

Barbara Filippone, 56, who founded Enviro Textiles six years ago, has been promoting the beneficial qualities of hemp nationally and internationally for 24 years.

Eastern Colo, would be a great place to grow Hemp. Maybe there could be a subsidy, to take advantage of the jobs created? Say and acre of OG Kush for every 100 acres of Hemp?

Sounds like a plan to me.

One of the biggest fuck up of American history was making hemp illegal.

Hemp fabric? Good enough for a jacket or a backpack. Wouldn't want to wear it next to the skin.

Marijuana combines as far as the eye can see.

Colorado has had medical marijuana for over a decade you fucking idiot.

What the fuck ever....the dominoes are falling, it's up to WA and CO to make some money. If they make money on this it's game over, the states will vote and the fed will have to give in and find something else to wage war on...like maybe all the illegal handguns out there in the hands of violent offenders.

And the International reaction to the Dutch registration law.

The details are not all known yet, but the Mayor of Amsterdam has been lobbying with the minister of Security and Justice for a year now to spare Amsterdam; Not allowing tourists in the coffeeshops would have a drastic effect for tourists visiting the capital city of Amsterdam. More details will follow, but first we are going to light up a joint to celebrate this. So even after January 1st, 2013... you will be able to keep on scoring a huge bag of White Widow in the famous coffeeshops of Amsterdam. Thank you, Thank you, what a beautiful day... Toke on!

Or Rouge Bankers and their evil henchmen?

I have some hemp pants that are great! You'd never know, they just feel like super soft cotton.

Also, bamboo.

Try it. I have a couple of shirts made from hemp. They aren't bad. I always assumed it would be something like burlap, but it isn't. While both have an open weave like burlap, it's not as course or abrasive to the skin. They're very cool, because of that open weave,in the summer too.

ABTW, fuck a bunch of Colorado. Washington, east side or west, would be the place to grow hemp.

Comshaw

Not a single one of you besides KRC corrected the OP. It's recreational that's been legalized, HUGE difference from medical. I don't think any of the legislation allows for crop growing outside a strict licensed agreement with the state, so this convo may be moot. Or mute as the OP probably would type. Jesus.

Comshaw is right, Washington's mild climate is far superior for growing it.
