Hello all at Literotica.
Yesterday i got a new puppy. I just can not think of a great name for her. She looks like the taco bell dog. But she is a sheltie ( cant spell it)
Do any of you have a suggestion ?

She looks like the Taco Bell dog, but is a sheltie?? Wow-just trying to imagine this.

As for names, is there anything else that you can give us? Do you have any hobbies that might have a word/term that might be appropriate? (If you like golf, for instance, Bogey or Divot might be good. If you like movies, an old movie star or movie title. Or maybe a favorite book/character.) Is there a phrase or word that you are 'known' for? Or something from school/work that you would like a reminder of? (Right now, if I were to get a new pet I would name it 'Dancer' because my current crush is a dancer for one of the local pro sports teams. Now if I could just meet her!! LOL) Maybe you can wait until you have a chance to see some of the personality that she has and go with that.

Sometimes the perfect name just comes to you. I was on vacation once and I overheard someone say something that was a perfect name for my new kitty that was waiting for me to get home.

I usually try to name a pet by it's personality or by it's looks. Like my rabbit is Dusty because she's a mottle whitish grey. She looks dusty.

Watch the puppy for a few days...maybe it'll do something that will help you name it.

Whatever you call him remember you have to shout it out in the park. I would refrain from "Stop thief" "rape" and "shoot" if I we're you!
My German Sheperd is called Rommel that raises a few eyebrows at the vets but it was better than the Hubby's suggestion of Hitler!
Whatever you call him, have fun and he'll be your best friend forever.

I LOVE the Taco Bell Dog ..

The true name of the Taco Bell dog (who is actually a female and NOT a male) is: Gidget.

(Sally Field had a tv series where she played this short (midget) surfer "girl" and they called her Gidget .. it was also a movie played by Sandra Dee).

anyways .. i think that would make a cool name ..

thanks all who answered, and jenne64 i think i will follow your advice and just call her taco.
as for her personalty. she doesnt have one yet except for sleeping and eating. But i did just catch her eating my flowers.
But i think "taco" is the right name for her.

His name is Lucky...because of how he came to our household...

I was driving my truck north on I71 about 3 in the morning when this little orange blur zipped across the highway...I knew it was a kitten and I stopped the truck to see if I could find it...I called it and sure enough it ran right up to me..so I picked it up and took it with me..either that or leave to become a tabbycake

He stayed with me the rest of the day..all the way to Wheeling and back...I had totally forgotten that I had ridden my motorcycle in to work that day...and now I had to figure out how to get him home...

I carried my stuff in a backpack and I decided to stuff him in there and hope for the best...he might not like it but he'll live...Mucho fun...try stuffing a cat into anything!

Got him in there and proceeded to make my way home(highway all the way) and as I am riding down the access ramp at 50 mph I feel these claws digging into my side and reaching for my crotch...the little pussy had nosed his way out of the bag and was climbing into my lap...he then dove off the bike and tumbled ass over appetite down the road...so I had to stop and round him up (the dumbass came right to me..not a scratch...1 down 8 left) and restuff him....Now he rules the house..he thinks...

I rescued our last cat when she was a stray kitten living near train tracks. We called her Cleo for two days and then changed it to Chloe. I like both names.

My last dog was named Ruby. She was a border collie, sheltie mix. She was a live wire!

Lethal, whatever you name your puppy, I am sure it will be loved.
