Since nobody from the site ever answers emails, how can I get a pending story title to be changed or just removed?

i have sent numerous e-mails to laurel and manu and haven't got an answer yet. keep trying, you have to win sometime. If you do get a reply, write me and let me know how you did it, lol.

Because of the high profile of the site, I'm told they have a draconian spam filter that will sometimes shunt off emails from the site into the junk box with the enlarge your penis stuff. It's hard to wade through all that stuff and dig out the wheat from the chaff.

If you have a critical need to remove a story ( being published and you need to get it down toot sweet, etc. ) try sending a PM to Laurel. Just look for posts in the contest forum, or in sticky posts at the top of most of the forums.

You could probably do the same thing for changing a title on a story that is pending.

If you have a critical need, a PM is the best way to go. If you just have a question, drop it in one of the forums. You might be surprised what fellow authors and readers know. Your question may have been asked and answered before, but nothing about it ever posted on the forum.

If a story gets posted ( with respect to a title change ) Repost the story, with the original title + something like *EDIT*, but make a note in the "Notes" section at the bottom that you want to change the title, and what you want the new title to be.
