I'm building a website for my husband's business. I promised him that I'd have *something* up there tonight so when he types in his domain name, he doesn't get a 'coming soon' page.

The main page is built and ready to be uploaded. The only problem is, I have no idea how to go about uploading it. I've never uploaded to an actual domain... only to things like Yahoo and AOL for personal pages.

Help me, please? The last thing I need to hear tonight is how irresponsible I am.

i've only worked with one website outside of the *free* type ones that make it easy as hell....

what kind of program did you use for the pages?

kid, go to the hosting site, adn find out what the pareameters are for FTPing, (if they allow it), and follow the simple instructions...

It's simpler than it sounds like it might be...

I have an email with info like 'FTP server address' 'website control panel' and 'DNS Servers'... and they did tell me I'd need an FTP program, so I downloaded a couple of them.

It's been a long time since I felt quite this inept at anything.
