I hate when people get all self-righteous about how their dick is still intact, as if mine is falling off or something. Shut the fuck up. You're the same people who say it's happening to non-consenting babies (which it is). So don't hold yourself up as a more complete and intact man because of the decision your parents made.

Don't feel self-righteous or superior about a decision you didn't make. It's like when tall people look down (figuratively) on short people (I'm 6'3 before you make a short joke).

...but maybe you are missing the point. This is actually about highlighting a barbaric practice, an insidious form of mutilation and physical abuse inflicted on defenceless infants.

Of course you can't have influence over the decision that has already been cut'n'dried and to be honest the only waving of superiority I have ever witnessed has been from those who try to appease their guilt in having made the decision of inflicting this form or torture on their own children. Instead of carrying a chip on your shoulder maybe you can help stamp out this primitive act by pointing out to future parents that there is zero reason and justification for blindly following a bizarre tradition.

I wonder if there will ever come a day when toes are cut off at birth because of the future possibility of untreated diabetic health issues. That would be just a little silly wouldn't it?
