Liar said:People, I've got a problem. Ever since NaNoWriMo in November, I haven't been able to write a single word of prose. And it's frustrating, because I feel like it would be really fun to do it. It would be great to start letting those words out, and post them for the world to see.
I know that I could flog myself into the routine again. But motivation to write is not something that i can just flip a switch for. Building motivation to write is as hard work as the actual writing. And for some reason, I can't be arsed.
(let's see if i get it right here)
I want to want to have motivation and drive enough to get into writing again.
How can I motivate myself to motivate myself?
Can someone pass the bong, please?

This might not be the sort of thing you are looking for, but have you considered dictating into a recorder? When I am too lazy to type or write in a notebook, I sometimes use a tape recorder to speak into. I have even used the voice record on my cell phone in a pinch. Once I get over the initial goofy feeling, it works quite well. Of course, I guard the recorder with my life. Lots of times, just listening to my ideas coming back at me jars something loose.
Luck,
