Help! pending story vanished!

I submitted a story and now it just vanished!
Initially it was "pending"

My main question is: is it ok to assume there was just a stuff-up and resubmit?

I am guessing I would have got some warning if it had been deleted for content reasons. I would like some confirmation before I resubmit.

Things I could have stuffed up:

When I first uploaded the file, I discovered that text in less-than, greater-than brackets was removed, interpreted as HTML I guess, so I replaced them with [,]. This was before actually submitting though

The title was "Q & A". could the & symbol be a problem?

After submitting, I changed the category from Lesbian sex to non consensual using the dropdown list and resubmitted. (I don't consider the content nasty, however)

I once opened the pending file to examine it once more and closed it without submitting, assuming it would be unchanged.

Send me the details in email so I can forward them to my programmer. ;)

I can't think of any more details!

..or do you just mean email my message above?

Also, hearing no news should I just resubmit by email in a couple of days with a note? I guess it was just lost.

By the way, being sci-fi I would have prefered to submit it into the nonhuman category because that has a fantasy audience, but the characters are all human. Is it sufficient that the content is impossible?

How does one debate the correct location for a story without submitting it:)

It has B, but no D, S or M. (I am terrified of even saying the wrong thing and hurting someone)

It has a lot of nonconsent, given that what you would consent to and a personification of your id would ask for are different things.

It has lesbian romance, but who am I to say "Hey! lesbians! here is some nonconsensual BDSM"

Toys, mind bending, group activities are all central to the plot. Maybe there should be a 'confused' category :)

Yes, email me with the specifics. It's usually better to email me if the message is meant for me rather than post here. ;)

If there's any point in the story where a character is taken against their will, it should probably go into NonConsent. However, if the action is ALL lesbian, it might belong in Lesbian. I can't really say without having read the story, though.
