Help Please

I got a mail from a fan that one of my stories, Of Cue sticks & garters had been posted to the Butch-Femme.com forums by someone nameds Leesa from Ontario Canada on 11/03.

There is a Leesa on the site, but I was unable to locate her posting of my story. I am so computer illiterate, but if my story is out there I want it removed. If anyone could help me find it so I could ask Laurel to help me get it taken down I would be ever so grateful.

I always thought I would be terribly angry if this happened to me again, but I find I am not. I actually feel sorry for this person. I suppose if they are nasty about it I will get my back up, but I cannot help but wonder what would motivate someone to do this? There is some adulation that comes with writing a story, but if you aren't really the author what possible good can the priase do you?

I am angry and upset, but more than anything I am confused. I just don't see what anyone hopes to gain by stealing another's work and taking credit for it. Obviously they cannot write another part or they would be posting their own works. It just doesn't make any sense to me.

Hopefully Laurel can help me get it removed. Thanks again for finding it pixe and thanks to the three annonyamos people who told me about it.

Yucky. You have more control than I do, Colleen. I'd be very upset if anyone tried to take credit for my writing. But as long as you aren't angry you should take it as a weird sort of compliment. Your story obviously has made an impression on people

I would first like to say thanks to all for your support.

I would like to thank Laurel for her prompt reply to my request for help.

The very good news is that the person who posted in that thread that the story was mine is actually the Webmistress. She was very helpful, and very nice. She also said she had left the thread up so people would know the person who posted it was a liar and thief. But I asked her to take it down.

After some reflection I cannot understand stealing someone eleses work. I can only assume the woman who did this is very lonely and has a very low self esteeme. If adulation, even for work that isn't yours, is so important to her she must be very desperate for attention. As vindictive as I can be, I no longer feel anger or violation, I feel pity. I don't want to cause her any more pain., i fear her life is already full of it.

Hopefully this will all be worked out uickly. Thanks again for everyone's support.

Three of my readers sent me mails, telling me it had been stolen. I would like to think it was because it was good, but i suspect this one was chosen since it is not a wordy as my usual

I was offered the option of leaving the thread up, to show her as a liar & thief. I declined. The wrold is full of hurt, pain, and people desperate for attention and adulation. I write to bring smiles, happiness and the occasional pair of damp panties. Causeing her more pain won't change anything.

I suppose I am well within my rights to want to hurt her, but that isn't well within myself. I would suggest however that if any of you have a lesbian story written you might go check her out, because she has several stories posted.


I canot say enough about my fans and how appreciative I am of their warnings.
