Those are NICE, glam. I think the black one would cause quite a stir (in a very good way of course!) at such an event. AND it looks good with hair pulled back, as many horsewomen prefer. Very chic!

I'm probably wearing a gown that a friend wore last year, or pulling the velvet slip dress out of the closet and wearing simple amethyst and silver jewelry. I can't actually afford a dress after the little adventure with the baby horse.

Y'all can rest easy tonight. I found a gown this weekend. I love clearance sales! It's a $160 gown that I found for $40. I can't find a picture of it, so I may have to take one, but it looks damn good on me, if I do say so myself.
