I'm starting to see a new girl that is alergic to latex. What else is there besides the Trojan Supras? If durex has them, are they sized like the normal ones(they don't fit)?

And anyplace to get them online? The expense will kill me.

BTW I checked the FAQs

In addition to the Trojan Supra, you could try Durex Avanti or the FC/Reality Female Condom. Lambskin also meets the non-latex requirement, but doesn't protect against HIV or other STIs, so that probably isn't a realistic option.

You might want to stay away from the Trojan Supra, as it's lubricated with Nonoxynol-9 spermicide, which irritates many people.

There are tons of places to get them online. Google "polyurethane condoms" and brand names like "Durex Avanti" and start doing some online comparison shopping. You can also call around to local family planning clinics (like Planned Parenthood) and if you're in college, the school's health center. Many of those places either have free or almost-free condoms available to anyone who wants them, though I don't know about the non-latex varieties. They may also be able to point you to places that have free or low-cost polyurethane condoms. It's worth some checking at any rate. In my opinion, she should be willing to split the cost of any protection...sex is a joint activity you ought to share responsibility.

Another option might be for her to get on the Pill or another form of birth control, both of you can be tested for STDs including Herpes now, and again in 6 months, and use condoms in the meantime if this looks like it might be a long-term relationship. You have to consider even that route is a calculated risk considering men aren't tested for HPV, but it's good to be tested anyway and is definitely better than going without.

Good luck!

I am getting them for my house. Just so I have them. AFAIK she has them at her house as well.

I picked up a box of trojan supras tonight. Uhg $8 for 3.

I know next to nothing about those condoms, and I know little about them in general. Only that durex don't fit at all and break. My ex g/f never used them.

Look on the bright side. It's cheaper than a child.

I know, but I am cheap!!!

And 3 won't last a day if my history repeats itself...
