It has come to my attention that I've had some of my work stolen from this site by a pay-per-view site called shemaleon.com

I am in the process of setting my solicitors on their asses, but thought that people should be warned of the danger of this. I'm quite annoyed as my permission was not sought for this and the stories are not even of a trans-sexual nature (except Underwear, and that only in a roundabout kind of way)

Can the operators at Literotica do anything to make them withdraw this stuff before it gets nasty? If not then I'm gonna have to ask for my stories to come off the site.

Sadie.

Sadie, this has happened to quite a few of us over the past few weeks and months.

PM Laurel, she's great and will help you deal with it in any way she can. Give her details of the site, and your story. If you are unsure how to get to PM her, go to one of the 'sticky' threads at the top of the main list in the AH. Then click on 'PM' at the bottom of one of Laurel's posts.

This kind of thing also makes me cross. All the best!

Lou :rose:

Hmmmmm

As far as I know, Laurel doesn't like this kind of thing at all and she will take action if she can on your behalf and of course indirectly on her own behalf to protect her site and her registered authors.

Having never been good enough for anyone to want my stuff I'm not really up on this. (I can't even bloody give it away:D )

PM Laurel with the details, and any proof that the stories were actually written by you and posted here prior to publication on the other site and I'm sure she'll help.

Nice to be that good though love;) Well done.

Thanks Guys *blush*

I was mad (cos I'm not getting paid, mainly!) but I guess it is an indirect compliment.

I'm still gonna sure those thieving b*****d's arses tho! *evil grin*

I've mailed the site directly as well, but will try the PM link. Thanks muchly.

*kisses 2 u both*

how did you find out that your work had been stolen? I would hate to have 'the safety' of our sites compromised and violated in this way...

I do a Google search using the name of my lead character, which is a little unusual. Normally it only throws up one link that leads back here. This time it threw back five pages, which made me instantly suspicious, specially as they were all to sites that have nothing to do with the original story content.
*grr*

Keep your eyes peeled scribblers, it can happen to you!

*seethes quietly*
