Help need from rope or bondage experts

I really like this and so does she. How do I finish it off? What knot do I use or how best to finish this?

How long are the free ends? That is some photogenic wrapping; it'd be a bit of a shame to compress it. I'd attatch it to another limb, post, or rail if I didn't want to spoil the look or cause uneven compression through the coil. There are a couple of knots, but they're tough to describe how to do. Hang on, I'll see if I can dig up an online knot guide page for the ones I'm thinking of...

Here's one from the Canadian Sea Scouts - the Heaving Line Knot or the Franciscan Knot - although a good square knot could be used as well, depending on what you plan on doing with the loose ends.

I agree with Spectre. If you don't want to ruin the look, a good square knot or the sailing knot would work well.

Im really good with knots and we have ankle and wrist straps for tie down fun but this rope around the ankles or maybe even higher is just so hot. I just dont know how to finish it that looks good and stays put, at least for awhile, maybe even going out. I can cut it to whatever length I need to. Thanks for any help.

Just remembered one from fly tying.

Surgeon's knot. It's exactly like a square or reef knot, except you wind it around more on both sides, and keep the turns even. It has the advantage of being a longer knot that flattens. Just tie off the loose ends with it; it'll keep the wrapping on the ankle together without totally destroying the look.

Oh perfect. I kinda remember that one and I can look it up. I think that will work. I really want to splice it on her permanently but it might be a little interesting at her work. Nothing quite as sexy as soft white nylon around taned curved ankles. woof.
