It's actually the very first AV I ever had when I "originally" joined lit back in 2000. When I was here then as Thesandman.

I'm officially "retiring" from writing here on this site. I have one last story to post that I promised I would finish for someone, (though I do have several new ones that recently have posted). After that...I'm done writing here. It's gotten to be a joke with the trolls and people who have nothing better to do than condemn the occasionally misspelled word and make a federal case out if it as opposed to simply commenting on the story itself. That I can deal with as not everyone is going to like every single story I write. Especially as I do write a lot of "questionable" sometimes "taboo" material. But I laugh...as that's usually by request, which I don't have a problem in doing.

But...to sucker-punch a story simply because I mispronounce, or misspell a word here and there, well...that I've had it with.

So, like I said...for those reasons, and for also being busy with completing my second book, and about to start work on the third in the series, I don't have time for putting up with that kind of bullshit any more. It's just not worth it.

So...having said that, as part of my "retirement" as it were, I thought it was only fitting to leave Lit with my original AV, going full circle here as it were. :)

I still plan on coming to visit from time to time, though probably not nearly as much as I have been. I am admittedly disillusioned with Lit and what's been happening, especially lately. And this years "awards" etc were in my estimation a joke, and more of a popularity contest as opposed to acknowledging good writing or any real talent being displayed here. I'm just fed up with the back-stabbing, "trolling" and anon comments that people seem to enjoy making. So for those reasons along with the others I've mentioned, are the reasons for my leaving here, though not permanently, or entirely. Just going to be very super busy doing other things here soon which won't give or afford me the luxury of being here as much as I once was, or have been.
