Are you keeping him interested? If my Master doesn't pay enough attention to me I act out and pretend to forget a rule so I will get a punishment. A punishment is better then no attention. Make sure are giving him enough tasks to show you are interested and having fun.

Its very possible you need to add tasks. Simple stuff for you to have him do to show you are interested and having fun. If I follow the rules I get tasks. If I don't follow the rules I get ignored and get punishments after a few days. My Master has learned to find punishments that I don't want to do.
