Hello everyone. It has been some time since I have posted regularly here, but hopefully people still remember me
I have visited NYC a number of times in the last few years. Because of this and my love for the place, my parents have asked me to arrange a trip there for them which includes booking somewhere nice to stay for the 6 days they are there for.
This is going to be a special trip for them as it to celebrate their retirement. This means they are looking for somewhere nice and comfortable to stay that has a bit of charm and an added bit of luxury too as this is something they will not be able to afford to do again. I really want to make this special for them, but I feel like the choice of hotels is becoming more of a minefield! Yes, sites like trip advisor are a big help, but if anyone on here can suggest somewhere based on experience that they think might be suitable to my slightly fussy parents, then please come out and say so
My first thought was finding somewhere fairly central, but the more I think about it, perhaps somewhere less busy like Chelsea, Greenwich, TriBeCa or soho might be better for them. Again, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
