There is a tradition in the dog world that I am trying to follow. Hundchen is going to have a litter of puppies later this year. We picked out a nice male for her. And that tradition is since it's the first litter all names begin with A. I'm having a piss poor time coming up with A names! Now I'm really only sold on a few names. Aimee (after the great-grandmother she was a big deal when I took her to a show people were like OMG it's an Aimee Grand-Daughter!) Angel after my first Rottweiler. Auberon cause it sounds cool. Alaric again I like it. I am hoping to have like 15 names per gender. Ya I know a little overboard, BUT my gut tells me this litter is going to be HUGE over 10. So far I have come up with...

Alcide Apollo Ares Alphonse Alaric Auberon Aidan Ash Arthur Andre Ace Argo Astro Auggie Adonis Axel Amadeus Anubis Atlas

Amaris Aimee Athena Aphrodite Artemis Aiyana Aniaya Amara Avalon Angel Ailsa Abbie Alyse Antonie Aroha Anabelle

Current count

Boy Names: 19
Girl Names: 16

i knew it rung a bell  ... how about Ailsa

Arnold. It was good enough for the pig on Green Acres. :D

Hi Piglet!

My suggestions: Abigal or Abbie for a girl. Alex or Axl for a boy.

I've always like the name Asa for a dog, more exotic than Ace. Adam, Ash, and Arturo also came to mind.

Hmmm throwing a few name suggestions out there (some of these names came from military working dogs...lol yeah I'm a goofy person I would often be more curious about the dogs and would ask the handler the names of the dog ;) ) Don't really have too many female suggestions tho

Axe(l), Andromidus, Amadeus, Achilles, Adonis, Aztec, Augie, Avis, Anubis

Aliyah, Alejandra, Avril

Lol no worries you forget I use to work with Cops and their dogs. I have heard some really funky names. Plus there was that hot officer at the event that fell off the hay bale with the black dog named Damon. He wanted to switch it to Dimon or Daimon. Can't remember which. The capt wouldn't let him. :(
I may have missed these 2. Arhcibald or Antoine
Sorry about your loss and thank you for your help.
Asbo or Asda (you're not in UK so not a problem) :)

Argonaut
Still a problem my sister in law is British and I rather like her. She's good for my brother.
Aroha, it means love in Maori
You may need to give me a lesson on how to say this. A Ro Ha?
