Hey people, Happy New Year!

I have a small problem.

I've sold two of the works I have posted here and I need to have them taken down ASAP, according to the publisher. I also kind of want to take down all of my work anyways, as I'm feeling a little extra-sensitive these days due to the large swath of rejections I've received (freelancing: not for the faint of heart). I've received some real whopper-length emails from a few denizens of Lit that tore my work a new asshole and all it makes me want to do is write novel-length replies, but that won't do anyone any good and just tires me out.

I have sent PM's to Laurel and Manu, I have tried resubmitting my work with the -DELETE added to the title line, and that's the extent of the information I have been able to find on the site re: deleting already-published submissions.

I am hoping it's something really easy that I'm just missing, but I had hoped one of you smart guys might know how to do this. I don't plan to abandon Lit or anything, I just need those two down for good and the rest removed (they're all quite old anyways, and I need a reason to write new stuff.)

Rybka, I know you managed to take down all of your stuff - do you know the secret? Anyone can help me out? Thanks! :)

Usually, resubmitting with delete in the title does it. But it can takes days. Maybe you could submit a poem without using delete in the title, because I think having that in the title puts it in the "I'll do it later" stack. :) Just submit anything and write her a note in the notes section and tell her what you need.

A Private Message to Lauren requesting removal of your work should do it. It may be just the time of year is slowing down the response.

Thanks, guys. Hopefully she will get my PM soon, it is a pretty busy time of year. :)
