Awhile back I had come across a thread where someone mounted a powered winch in the attic, installed a wall plate for plugging in the controller, and also rigged a neat setup to conceal the hook / line by attaching a dummy smoke detector or something.
Anyone know what I'm talking about and have a link they can post?
