Hello everyone,
I've lurked around Literotica for a while and finally decided to try to post a story of my own. It was fairly violent. I have seen some violence in other stories throughout the site, so I thought that anything short of the very extreme or snuff would be okay. My story was submitted in the non-consent category.
The reason given for the rejection of my submission was the following:
"While we do accept submissions with graphic violence, we don't accept "snuff" - i.e. death & extreme torture with the aim of sexual titillation. We generally do not accept submissions of nonconsensual sex in which the "victim" gets absolutely no sort of thrill or enjoyment from the acts, or is seriously and /or permanently physically harmed/abused."
...I am not sure what part of my story specifically violates those terms.
There is a battle in the story, but it is separate from the sex, so the death does not have the aim of sexual titillation; it's more for the background story.
The victim does enjoy the sex, aside from feelings of guilt.
And the most harm that is done to her in the story is that she suffers two knife-inflicted flesh wounds during the rape. She fears that she is going to be killed, but is spared.
Do any of those things usually make a story unacceptable for publication here?
I'd just like to know so that I can make the necessary adjustments before I resubmit, without changing the whole thing.
Thanks.
