help after editing

I had my story edited by a wonderful editor and I would love to talk him up. however, I was reading the things you should know before you get a volunteer editor and it says to include who it was a short rating blah blah. however, it is a bit vague. it doesn't say where to do this. do I do it at the end of my story or in that other little box it says no one will read? if anyone can shed some light on this id appreciate it.

Check with your editor -- they may not want a mention or a credit, either in a story note or in a forum. A lot of editors like to edit, but for various reasons they don't want people crediting them. I'd even go so far as to say never mind what the guidelines are, and go with what your editor says.
