Ever read "The Tin Drum" by Gunter Grass? It's one of my favorite books. Kristallnacht as dramatized in it has a terrifying, horrifying beauty as the glass shatters and the fires rage. (And the warped artist narrator finds his piercing voice, but that's another matter.)

By comparison, transformative love and peaceful empathy are less sexy, less attention-grabbing. Even the words sound hokey. But aren't they beautiful too?

I can't shoot any Lit stuff either (I miss yours a lot more!).

From my mirror? I should whip out to the Jeep and take a pic. Still the small sea turtle necklace I got in Cozumel in 2012.

LOL! I read this wrong and thought you have a fly swatter hanging from your mirror. Fly rod is a fishing pole, right?

Thank you, but at the moment I don't bring anything. As most people I am stuck at home with the whole family around 24/7, which does not leave much chance to shoot anything even remotely suitable for Lit.
