I could be wrong, but also this doesn't sound like something taking place IN the workplace at all, but rather the general dipshittery of the populace in its after-hours incarnations. Which you can't expect a lot from.
The demeaning bullshit one's treated to at work doesn't have to be sexual at all. And thus perfectly legal.
And again, my perspective is certainly someone who has a few bones to pick in terms of how her profession has been defined by others.
