Hi, i ran across this site by accident and decided to read a few stories and found a few to be quite good. I had been thinking of trying my hand at writing for some years now. Since I have an erotic side I thought I'd give it a shot. I have purposely keep my first endeavor short, about three thousand words. I will be writing under the name of Ezrollin and the title of my story is, Julie's Dilemma. I'm about ready to submit but have a problem. I typed the story on my Chromebook using Note Pad, as I read over each page I noted that the indents I has used for separating each paragraph had disappeared automatically.Anyone know of an app I can use with Chromebook for writing stories ? I'm looking forward to submitting my story for constructive criticism. Thanks !

The format here is no indent and put a extra line feed between paragraphs. So, your story shouldn't have paragraph indents here.

Welcome to Literotica.

Thanks, I re-wrote each page still using Note Pad but skipping a line as you suggested instead of indenting and it worked. I will proof read it one more time and submit it tomorrow.

Well,I made a submission,a short story " Julie's Dilemma" still pending.

A welcome  for the little newbie from the good little witch.

I'm wondering if I should invent a new persona - just so that I can get a welcome kiss from 'the good little witch'. Where was she when I arrived?

Oh ... and welcome Newbie. Write well and have fun. :)

Congrats, from one relative-newbie to another!

Posting your first story is quite an experience. My first is also the one that received the most negative comments (about the content, not the writing, thank goodness!), which felt oddly like an initiation. Especially the comment that threatened ass rape in a dark alley. Fun!

Take in the critiques, ignore the assholes.

Also, try not to obsessively check your views/comments/votes totals. I'm still struggling with that one.

Thanks for the welcome,it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Being a newbie I don't mind some criticism and I'm sure there will be some. I realize you can please everyone but if I can please the majority then I will continue to write. The truth is this is the first story I've ever submitted anywhere. I purposely made it short and tried to write it so it would hold the readers interest. I realized how bad my grammar has gotten after all these years as I read through each paragraph and made corrections. The one thing I did notice is that when you read a paragraph you realize there is a better or more fluid way of saying the same thing.Almost every paragraph in the story got something changed before I submitted it and there was stil plenty of room for improvement. I already have a few ideas for other stories,I hope to get better as I write .

At the risk of sounding like I'm internet challenged where would I store them to provide a link, aren't they just posted here on Literotica ? Kisses from Glyndah ....she may not want to send me any more kisses after she reads my story.. lol

Yes, they are posted up here on Literotica.

You can put a link to your Story Submissions in a line below all your posts - your signature. (You can see above several of us have done this. You may need to tick something to 'see signatures' in order to see them.)
:)
