Hello, I'm new.

Hello! Meet me, greet me, and HELP ME! I am a computer dummy and this is probably the most difficult website I've ever dealt with.

I haven't written a story to submit yet, but I did have a picture. I can't figure out how to submit that. Any advice that anyone has on absolutely anything will be appreciated. So far, I'm really glad I joined and I'm really looking forward to meeting some cool people and writing my first ever story!

Hello, Welcome to lit.

If you mean an av photo, you have to have a certain number of posts, 100 I think, before you can put one up. If you mean just a phtot photo you would like to share, you can open a thread in the Am pics forum.

Not stupid at all.

That's what the lovely Miss Colleen meant by an AV photo. It takes 100 posts. Don't worry, that goes by a lot faster than you'd think.

Most people say this is the easiest story site they've been to. But that's ok, you're here now. Sit down and chat awhile, but make sure you leave some time for writing.

Check out the Newbie Support Forum Thread in this section, just say hello and "Help, I need to know EVERYTHING" and peoples will help. And post, post, post, 100 for an AV, you lose your virginity around 30 or 35. Thats posts, not years old.

I tried to post my picture in the pics forum, but nothing happened. I tried several times, and no luck. I'm going to take that as a sign that my partially nude ass has no business being posted for people to see. The newbie thread that I checked out confused the doo-doo out of me so I started this one.

Does anyone have any advice on some things I should NOT do, say or post on the bb? I don't want to start pissing people off with my "help me, i'm stupid" thread in the author's hangout area. Once I write something I'll have more pertinent things to talk about.

There aren't many don'ts here. The only one that immediately comes to mind would be don't call Svenskaflicka "Sven".

The problem with that list is that it changes on a daily, if not hourly, basis. It really generally depends on the mood hereabouts.
Well...I will say that, if you come across a story you don't like, don't start a thread about it. I've gotten the impression that that isn't generally well recieved.
