My Weekend
So this weekend was my annual trip to mix with the posh at Burghley horse trials.
Things I learnt;
Money and taste/manners don't go together.
Tight white jeans and knee high boots are this years fashion trend.
Any judging by the photo, the rich are as kinky as the rest of us.

I think I binged both series of Fleabag very quickly, annoyingly the play is so limited run it is not on when I am down so debating trying to get tickets for the local screenings and praying my on call does not screw me over (top tip, it absolutely will).
While I do not know what I can say about rich people all I do know is that the worst are always those that seem to believe they are the most important people irrespective of where they are in the company or how much they earn. Or maybe that is because I work in IT..

Kinkiest person I knew had barely 2 pennies to rub together. Money would have allowed him to express it more perhaps, but fuck did he find a way regardless.
I think a healthy skepticism regarding rich people is only fair. I'm the same. Don't beat yourself up about it, individuals will gain your trust if they're deserving.

This sounds like people who show off their “wealth”. At least in the US many of those people aren’t actually wealthy. Most people who are don’t show it off and do have manners. I will point to “The Millionaire Next Door” which interviewed nearly 1000 millionaires. I can point with confidence because my part time accounting practice brings me in contact with a bunch. Its description matches my experience.
That said, I have someone in my building whose father was UK working class, came here and made his fortune and then moved back. He was still treated as not good enough by the classes. That mostly doesn’t happen here. It does in our movies but that reflects Hollywood society much more than the way it works at large. There are many in the US who buy into that but they rarely actually know anyone who is rich I find.
There are always a few Aholes who reinforce the stereotypes but tell me of any group that doesn’t have a few of those.

I have two 'twit of the year' rich cousins, they are both Old Etonian arseoles who live in Cotswold twee mansions. I wouldn't touch either of them even with a pole from hmq's shiny barge.
