Yikes ! I can’t believe you actually went. Thanks for the photos.... I’m so glad you enjoyed it. A friend bought me membership for the Tate for my birthday ( way too generous ) and I used it for the first time in St Ives. I’m hoping to maximise its use over the year.

I am always happy to take a good suggestion on board, I got a few other images but did not want to clutter up the board / spam my post but if you want to see them let me know and I will figure something out.

Any good art I am happy to see, so appreciate it. Thank you :)

Unfortunately I was not able to make it but I hope he put on a good show. He was a really good comic when he was younger so anything that helps get him back on track I am fully behind.

I did however see a group called Johny and the Baptists, satirical musical comedy that was really really good to be honest. Also randomly got chatting to the lady next to me who was from North London.

However this I did get to and it was really really good. Some excellent pieces of art and some incredibly intricate layers with a focus on cubism. That was an excellent suggestion and thank you for making it. I took some slightly random images that I thought I would attach here:

Fab pics! Looks like a worthwhile visit, x

Cookbooks and high art. Beavenue a la welcome to London

Soz, I'm off to France this year, and I've lazily not relearned my basic French. Any suggestions?

And anyone know John Plant. (I'm not gay but what a guy)

Was lovely, I have a few other shows lined up (one of which appears to be a musical based on cruel intentions) so time to bring on the weirdness. And happily enough I also did not get completely soaked!

Hi. Hello and welcome.

You've seen the cruel intentions film ? ( hmmm dangerous liaisons)

For the language? Do you not just go full on Brit abroad and keep talking English but very loudly and slowly?

For travel tips ask lovely Numi... you can tell her I directed you to get boudoir. This is a woman that knows her way around France...

Always fascinated by these videos. Really hope that I can remember some skills when the apocalypse comes. I mean how much more difficult can it be than what I learnt in good girl guides...

I'm still not sure how to get a boy scout out of a horse's hoof with a stone

I have which is partly why I am intrigued and slightly scared by the idea of turning it into a musical. However the festival is nothing but a hotbed of ideas that should not work somehow actually working.

How about a stone out of a boy scout with a hoof?

I wont lie, i have no idea what any of this means but i have mental images of Minotaur boy scouts. Which is most likely a whole different set of badges.

So random question for the day, I have a couple of theater shows i am interested in but I am pretty sure that no-one else will want to join me with. I have never had an issue with going to these things myself because I have no intention of missing them if I do not have to, that is not a weird thing is it? Solo theater going is definitely a thing?

I am doing solo theatre tomorrow night...

I felt self conscious the first couple of times but I regularly do it now... I travel for work and it beats sitting alone in a hotel room... enjoy!

Used to worry about that when I first went to the cinema solo, after working at one I realised how common it was. Why shouldn't you go alone? Go enjoy!

Yeah I have done the solo cinema thing for a while due to the joy of a Cineworld card. The good thing is the Lyceum theatre here do preview shows of each seasons new production for £10 and the first play is Solaris. Never managed to get through the Russian original and did not really go for the Clooney remake so hoping the stage production helps me through it.

I shouldn't (it's a kin to a magician revealing tricks)(a kin = like) (sorry I'm being a,wanker:heart:)

A Swiss army knife has am attachment for removing stones from horses hooves, which is pointlessly redundant for years. The pun as deftly shown by my esteemed colleagues above is to show that silliness by multi switching, stone, hoof, and little boys (the Swiss army's largest sales demographic)

Ah I apologise for my generally poor grasp of grammar goodness, it was never my strongest point. I rely a bit too much on the red underscore to keep me right.

I have learnt something new though and that is very cool, appreciate the clarification :)

No apology needed, my spelling is shocking without that red line and I'm meant to be native.

I only put the explanation in as a while back someone said they had to Google the slang. which is nice that people want to follow what we're wittering on about

Anyone remember Keith Floyd (the chef)

I always felt sorry for Paul (the camera person)

I may be wrong but was he not perpetually a little tipsy, or give that impression? I suspect he was a lovely guy but possibly a bit tricky to work with.

Although this has got me thinking of the buttery base song from Masterchef. I always have grand delusions of cooking something scrumptious but as it is only me it normally degenerates into pasta and an ice cream mars bar.

I hasten to add not at the same time.
