I think that depends on how often they are usually here...the less often they are around, the longer before you go looking for them...

Partly depends on whether or not they made a potential drama queen post. ;)
(Didn’t initially consider it to be one.)
Also, as Guy stated, depends on how often they usually post.
 
It could also depend on if they have a history of disappearing for a time. The real world happens so some people drop off the map for a week, a month, a year even and I get it. It’s almost like you have to cultivate a different kind of friendship online, though I try to cultivate it in person too, enjoy them when they’re around understand when they’re gone and welcome them when they’re back.

Sounds like a fun holiday Ruth, some of my best memories are on the beach with sand castles and family.

I periodically do drama queen leaving posts... sometimes accompanied by actual destruction of current thread... however I’ve normally just got the communists in the funhouse and then people pander to me and I sheepishly stay whilst silently promising myself I won’t do it again...

I'll never forget my father helping us make giant castles with moats and stuff. I saw him shape an alligator out of sand once, and another time a snake going in and out of holes in the beach, I swear he could have been an artist lol
