I went to a Catholic school with Irish nuns. I distinctly remember, in 6th grade, Sr. Joan of Arc telling us that you only wear green, never, ever, orange. I also remember beaming because she told me (100% Polish/Slovak girl), with her beautiful lilting accent, that I looked like a proper Irish lass in my green sweater.

^^ tbh just travel. Avoid summer holiday (July/August just because of cost) if you want. But any time, any place.

Wales is best (IMHO) followed by Scotland.

Allia will fly a flag for the Midlands.

Oxford is special. Devon/Cornwall for the beach (but it takes for ever to get there)

Avoid Swindon and Norfolk (don't ask)

Mainland Britain, go to West Wales otherwise West of Ireland

Disagree. Don't avoid Norfolk. Best beach in the world at Holkham...

When next buying a hairbrush... go for something with a more forgiving handle for those occasions you are stuck in a hotel without a vibe...

See! Cheap and nasty... hope I haven’t put anyone off their cornflakes...

In other news, now the Pinters are over, I need to find something to entertain my evenings or there is a danger I will just succumb to drinking alone while wanking to bad porn with an uncomfortable hairbrush...
