Olympic park is on until 17 or 18 nov

I will definitely try to get there, xx

I suggest you take the afternoon off. Start with a visit to Borough Market to stock up with some cheese - I think there are something like 15 shops/stalls to choose from and then walk over London Bridge to Cheese at Leadenhall for a spot of lunch ( https://cheeseatleadenhall.co.uk/ ) then jump on tube or DLR to Queen Elizabeth Park to see the shrouds remembrance thingy. If you have the energy then jump back on to the DLR to Tower Hill to see the poppies. If it isn't quite dark enough you can munch on some cheese to keep you going until it is...

Haha! Sounds like an AP shaped plan :)

There was quite a haunting display (or is one) of clear plastic outlines of soldiers, that have been displayed in a church somewhere (I think it's Midlands). If memory serves me right, most of the young men from the village went to war and died in conflict.

It's a somber time.

Was it this?

A couple of his there but not there silhouettes stand outside Whitehall - they are very striking with their poppies on...

I fear the AP shape you have been so diligent in sculpting through the early morning gym and pool sessions may be threatened by a cheese dominated diet!

Oh no... there is no fancy AP sculpted shape... my diet of cheese and wine means five fucking thirty gym club ensures I am a small elephant not a big elephant... side note I love elephants, beautiful, complex, strong and gentle... ever watched an enormous elephant raise her foot and ever so gently wipe after the after birth on a new born? I really am not sure there is anything more beautiful...

Additional side note - today is 14 days off the booze becauee I really do need to let five fucking thirty gym club deliver better gains... I am quite impressed by that since I stay in a hotel that ply’s me with free wine...

Is that ... missionary, or doggy, cowgirl or reverse cowgirl?

Enquiring minds.

Hehe - I suspect in his case it might be a little self love, xx

14 days is something to be admired! I've been booze free for a few months. It fucks with my health, not to mention it puts a hole in the wallet! Feeling much better for it, and it's kinda fun to be the sober one in the pub.

I too love elephants however am very wary. They may look gentle (and are so with their offspring) but they squash about 500 people every year... not all of whom deserve to be squashed... Having said that - 20+ years ago I bottle-fed orphans at Pinawalla in Sri Lanka and they were the sweetest creatures...!

An elephant kills a character in a novel I read recently, it was fairly funny.

I sure there was a killer rogue elephant in one of the Ryder Haggard novels

Despite the fun I sometimes have in London I must admit I felt a bit blue booking my hotel rooms for 2019 today....

Very first world problems

The mention of Borough Market made me think of this pic I took last I was there. That then reminded me that I wanted to try to teach myself how to embed pics in posts. So here goes...and got it figured out on the second try. Don't know if I did it in the most efficient way, but there it is.
