Eeh Gads! Don't soil a cheese like that! I guess it might make it bit more salty and more like a camembert that's been roasted ...

Cum-on-bert

Best I could do...

Reminds me : what's the best cheese to hide a horse?

mascarpone.

How is everyone today?

Went shopping today and heard Christmas songs! Fucking hell people, it's a long time off!!

I was shopping for Christmas presents.

I have Christmas red nails now... but only coincidentally... I have an important presentation next week and don’t yet know what I am wearing, I figured red nails would go with anything...

Still on train, tired and hungry... I want cheese... :(

Anyone on the train looking at porn?

Yes. Red nails go with a lot. Black lingerie especially. *whistles innocently*

Only me...

Red nails also go with Spider-Man knickers which is handy because that is what I wearing under my wide-legged black trousers and woollen black polo neck... the flash of red around my knees has cheered up each tampon change today (share too much? Me? Never....)

Who’s been to see the torches at the Tower of London? Worth a trek? Any point going at lunch or do I need to be there in the dark? (I know that sounds like a stupid question... I just might only have a daytime opportunity...)

Torches as part of remembrance?

If so, sounds a remarkable sight to see. Photos, please!

Yes... I went to see the poppies the same artist did, I actually bought one but shamefully it is still in it’s box as I am not sure where to put it....

The torches are only until Sunday I think so I have limited opportunity...

Was luckily enough to go down and help plant the poppies the other year.

I suggest you take the afternoon off. Start with a visit to Borough Market to stock up with some cheese - I think there are something like 15 shops/stalls to choose from and then walk over London Bridge to Cheese at Leadenhall for a spot of lunch ( https://cheeseatleadenhall.co.uk/ ) then jump on tube or DLR to Queen Elizabeth Park to see the shrouds remembrance thingy. If you have the energy then jump back on to the DLR to Tower Hill to see the poppies. If it isn't quite dark enough you can munch on some cheese to keep you going until it is...

There was quite a haunting display (or is one) of clear plastic outlines of soldiers, that have been displayed in a church somewhere (I think it's Midlands). If memory serves me right, most of the young men from the village went to war and died in conflict.

It's a somber time.
