I have a 12 year aberlour that I'm currently enjoying, but I'll leave an interesting 'Auchentoshan' triple distilled as a peace offering.

To much whiskey will put the ladies off though so I've a lovely bottle of bubbly in the fridge and a France red for the women in my life who prefer red. X

Hmmm. My initial assumption, when you implied earlier that our buxom Roman friend was the only woman here, was that you had forgotten I was here. However, with the above statement, I am beginning to entertain the theory that you think I am a man. Perhaps I should entertain more than theories and invite our dear gladiator to verify that, despite my love of whisky, I am indeed a woman, if not a lady.

While I definitely appreciate the peace offering, isn’t all Auchentoshan whisky triple distilled? By no means am I an aficionado, but I thought that was their practice in general. If I stand corrected, there’s a dram of Glenmorangie Nectar D’Or for you.

I do know if your still is tall enough you only need a single distill.
It's a lovely tasting dram.

You ever read Iain M Banks book when he got a mate to drive him around all the Scottish whiskey distilleries. I think it's called wild spirit.
My favorite part is the beginning when he sells the idea to his publisher. They agree. And he can't believe his luck.
