Sorry for the random swerve on this thread but I’ve just scored a pair of £400 Vivienne Westwood shoes in a charity shop! Best score ever!!!! :D

Aaaaaah ok slight malfunction. Can’t upload and the phone is about to go through the window if I carry on.

I’m just waiting for you to click your heels 3 times “there’s no place like home, there’s no place like home”

A few years ago I went to a big exhibition of Hollywood costumes at the V&A.... I think I must have seen the ruby slippers but I don’t remember. I remember seeing the blue gingham dress worn by Judy Garland in the Wizard of Oz positioned next to the while halterneck dress worn by Marilyn Monroe ( the one where she stands over the subway grate). Whatever you’ve heard about MM that white dress was way tinier than the blue gingham dress. That was my lasting impression of that exhibition.... Marilyn was tiny.

one curvy Lady I wouldn't mind getting my hands on!

For some reason I always had a thing for Lana Turner and would’ve liked to have been Frank Sinatra and got my hands on her.

Well, MM knew how to rock a dress. Her translucent dress when she sang Happy Birthday to Kennedy is another iconic outfit. Gave me the appreciation I have today for the curvy shape rather than heroine thin favored by many. Now somehow I’m trying to reconcile the vision of you in the shoes and your knickers good for tucking large amounts of cash (got me on the pounds being coins, lol). New fashion trend?

It wasn't on the first page of the personals. I thought you'd finally been boosted. But you're all still here, and all is right with the world. I'll bump it up just incase anyone else is concerned too.

Thank you Reaper. We oscilate between here and day drunk. It seems like you’re a regular lurker so hello. Come and chat sometime.

SL.

Always waiting for the right moment! It's like listening to a chat on a table near you in a cafe. It's interesting, you wanna contribute, but also feel like you're interrupting friends by being a total eavesdropping weirdo.

Nice to be around fellow brits though! I'll be over here definitely minding my own business again...
