Not sure if this is the correct place to say hi.

I have been a browser for a short while and thought I'd jump right in and say Hi. I am looking forward to some engaging discussions, meeting some interesting folks and generally just having fun here.

A bit about me: I am from the Midwest, I enjoy many things including cooking (especially for someone special), reading, history, politics and outdoor sports.
I am 30, I have a graduate degree, know how to fence, own my home, have a 401K and a fun job to go with it, and I know my way around a wine list so I'd be happy to order for you I am Dominant but between playmates right now (I do have a few prospects though). That is it in a nutshell.

Also, if anyone knows how or when one gets to post an avatar on the site I would much appreciate the information.

And if you're really eager to get an avatar up there, one way to build up your post count quickly is to play in the "Word Chains," "Drop a Letter, Replace a Letter," "Word Association" and "BDSM Alphabet" games, as well as "Reply Only With a Question" and a couple of others that don't require a lot of thought or effort -- usually.

BTW, welcome. Just about everyone here is a little bit nuts (present company excepted, of course), but not too many of them bite -- hard. Unless that's desired. Watch out for some of them, though, like graceanne. {{{gracie}}}

Seems a clever way to artificially increase the board activity. I think I'll just stick to substantive posts for now. Besides there is a pic on my profile anyway so an avatar is not a necessity I guess.
