No, I meant the line is forming for you and your time, so he needs to appreciate any pussy thrown his way.
LOL, girl you're making me blush! It seems I'm going to have to reformat, or just replace the HD. Thats why my av's keep changing, I'm going through my emails where my av's were sized for me and saving them to my webpage so I'll have copies of them. Every few minutes I find one I like better than the last!

If you're emails aren't saved to your Outlook Express, I'd say you'll be okay. But it would be easier to see if you have a disk with some space just hanging around, and copying your emails with pictures directly into it.

Its Yahoo mail, and I've finished them now. How do I find out if I have such a disk, and how do I copy onto it? (When you have time, there is no hurry. Right now I'm going through the ones on my hard drive. It could take all day, and tomorrow too.)

Actually I saw you say that you didn't have a CD burner so a cd won't work in your case.
But do you happen to have any Floppy Disks? If you don't they aren't expensive.. less than $5 for just a couple at Walmart. Slip that bad boy into your floppy drive and start saving. ;-)
I've had to wipe my hard drive several times.. so I know what it's like trying to save all of your stuff. *ack* I've crashed twice and didn't have the chance to save.
The first time I lost 400+ songs, personal emails that I'll never get back and a very special and sentimental Wav file.. that only said hello baby. *sigh*
The second time I lost around 200 songs and pictures.
lol I thought I'd be smart and burn everything to a cd. Pictures, family and personal, of friends.. letters, and a poem that someone I love wrote for me last year.
Lost them all in December.

I've been there too, kitty, thats why I'm trying to do what I can right now. The last time, it was either crashing or about to, and I couldn't get anything to work right (open, load completely, etc.) so my ex just dumped everything and I had to start over. Back then, I wasn't here yet, so I only had about 25 of my own pics, but I had alot of pics that others had sent to me.
But I am not computer savvy in the least, and guessed that if I didn't have a back up thingy, that I was just screwed. You would think he would have told me that I could use disks. Plus, I thought that since he had reformatted it, that I would be safe for a long time to come. Oh, well.Thanks for your help, and for making me laugh so much.

You should have seen me a year ago!!
I had a very good Irish *friend* who thankfully happened to be a computer whiz. When my computer was doing very weird things I grabbed him as soon as he logged into our chat.. he said, in front of all our friends in main, "Don't worry about it kitty, I'll sort you".
I did a few things that he told me to try, then he said to reboot. After that it would only boot back up in safe mode. I was so screwed.
An hour later my phone rings and it was him wondering where I'd got off to. So he set out to get me fixed back up. We tried several things to no avail, finally he asked if I trusted him and his expertise enough to let him talk me through wiping my harddrive and reinstalling my windows. Shakily I agreed.
So we wiped it all, the prompt came up asking for me to insert my Windows. I said .. okay how do I get that? He said where do you have it? I said uh.. huh??? You mean I'm suppose to have it?? lmao
To cut it short I spent at least $100 on calls to Ireland, he spent around $300 on calls to America, to get the problem solved. At one point he was telling me what so and so was saying and doing in chat and in my frustration I nearly bit his lil head off, telling him that I didn't give a rats behind what was going on in chat when my computer was in shambles. lolol
After 4 hours, wearily he said.. "I'm literally in tears here!"
He had to go back into our chat room and tell them that I wouldn't be back for at least a week, after they saw him tell me he'd get me sorted in no time.
Ya ought to hear a thick Irish brogue and a hillbilly accent arguing.
Oh and he loved how I'd refer to computer stuff as thingy's, thingamajig's, do-hickey, whatchacallit and the thing that's beeping or blinking. lmao
But he did manage to teach me a few things about computers.
I get so chatty when I've been up all night.
Okay.. so if you can today run out to Walmart and pick up some Floppy disks in the electronics department. Tell them why you need them, what you're going to use them for. Back up everything you want to keep onto them, if you condense it you won't need much room. You'll not likely go through 2 or 3.
