Joseph M. Williams makes an excellent point in his observation about what readers glean from your prose. Heaven? Hell? or WTF! Then they judge the content and details, one bombing or licking their lips if your message resonates with their values and fund of experience.

Loose associations, illogical associations, poor cohesion, and bass ackwardness confuses readers.
