Ah yes, heaven and hell, and the path between them, that we never realize how short and straight it is until he walk it. Probably because it isn't heaven nor hell, just life, from a slightly different angle. A punch in the gut seems to be part of it's repertoire.

Dran, although I'm sure it wasn't a pleasant thing for you to write, I'm glad you did. Because I had no idea what was up with you and your mood lately, and it was beginning to worry me.

I'm sorry, sweets - I know heartache and loss is a huge burden and very little anyone can say or do truly lightens the load. You have good friends here who care about you and ache for you, so please don't think you are alone.

BTW: I am not angry at her for doing this. I think I have a fair understanding now of why she did it. She did what she felt she needed to do and what she felt was right. I would much rather know she is there instead of a hick town in Alabama being held prisoner by an asshole.

So don't hold any ill will towards her. She had her reasons and that's good enough for me.

One cannot be blamed for not wishing to be with someone. Dran hurts, but he wisely has chosen not to become bitter against the woman in question. I just hope that he moves on and finds someone else. I'm confident that he will.
