Rozenn went to look for the book she had been reading last, returning with a collection of old legends.
She smiled when she saw that he cared enough to place something for her to sit on in front of his chair and she gladly took her place on the pillow. Her smile only broadened when he wrapped his legs around her and started playing with her hair. From the way she was sitting she couldnt see his face, so she wasnt even sure whether he was listening or not.
She found the page where she had stopped and began reading about magic fae folk, brave knights, fearsome dragons and beautiful maidens. She read for quite a long time, losing herself in the tale.
Eventually however her voice started fading and she put the book away, turning around to find her husband asleep on the chair.
"Gavin.", she said, shaking his leg. "You should move to the bed. It will be far more comfortable.", she added once she saw him wake.
She freed herself from his hold and stood, holding her hands out to him. "Come, you need rest. I will go and change into my nightgown and then join you....if you wish me to." She didnt want to push herself at him, even as his wife. Rozenn smiled gently at him, placing a hand on his cheek.
"Stay in bed tomorrow. The people will be able to go through one day without you."
