It's pointless...really.

Same old mindless banter.

How lame is it to post and/or reply to these threads containing "Have you ever (fill in moronic subject)" or "Would you kiss (fill in mindless subject)." When I see these I'm reminded of the notes we used to pass around in grade school. How many people on here are still living in the past?

Slightly less lame than it is to post and whine about said threads. It's a way to pass the time.

I would definitely ever do a moronic subject.... and I'd definitely kiss a mindless subject...

I would suggest you start a thread you think would encourage the type of interaction you would approve.

If you just want to bash others. There are other places for that.

I wasn't "bashing" anyone...just pointing out the obvious.

Well, to each their own opinion.

I find it kind of cute.
And it's a nice way of integrating within this community by posting lighthearted stuff for newbies like me.

Anyways, you'll probably get more posts like this.
Just putting my two cents in.

Then why go out of your way and post something like that? It's as if you're at a restaurant, complaining about perfectly good food, bothering the waiter, bothering the other customers, asking to speak with the person in charge, creating all that ill environment when you could' ve just walked out the door and go eat some place else. Live and let live, man.

I love living in the past, but only because I can't live in the future. The present...well every single moment in time is already the past...look how many presents I've wasted writing this. No matter, I will live in the past so I can appreciate them all again :)

Mindless morons are so much fun and best of all, I enjoy threads that only require me to type one word. In fact my head is starting to hurt, too many words, ellipses, periods and those dreaded commas...now who can I kiss?

I was hoping you would ask

ME?

Btw. You had me at love

I suppose you could just do what I would recommend anyone does with a thread which is clearly below their towering intellectual or aesthetic principles...don't read it or post in it...

You're welcome...

From looking at his other threads though, this is actually the pinnacle of interaction for him...as is often the case for those you describe above...

I only aspire to reach the intellectual heights of you janey. Will you be my mentor?

I find that, with strangers, it is much safer to discuss the past than the future. Discussions about the future should be reserved for those with whom you are comfortable living in the present.
