How lame is it to post and/or reply to these threads containing "Have you ever (fill in moronic subject)" or "Would you kiss (fill in mindless subject)." When I see these I'm reminded of the notes we used to pass around in grade school. How many people on here are still living in the past?

I would suggest you start a thread you think would encourage the type of interaction you would approve.

I love living in the past, but only because I can't live in the future. The present...well every single moment in time is already the past...look how many presents I've wasted writing this. No matter, I will live in the past so I can appreciate them all again

I find that, with strangers, it is much safer to discuss the past than the future. Discussions about the future should be reserved for those with whom you are comfortable living in the present.
