Have you ever tried to write a screenplay?

Wanna give it a shot?

I am creating a Hump Film (a 5 minute film for an amateur porn festival) and I am looking for co-collaborators to write the script.

The film is called Come 4 Your Guns and is about a woman who decides to change the world by offering sex for guns (getting them off the street one cock at a time!)

(That's the thread in Story Ideas). I figured I would post it here too in hopes that an author might pick up the gauntlet. Here's the google doc version of the invite.

I'm working on my version today. I'll post it when ready (and post a link here too). I'm super curious to see how others might interpret this challenge.

Thanks for being incredibly sexy creative inspiration for me since 2008!

Yes, as matter of fact, I have. I wrote 2 screenplays. Unlike novels, screenplays are only 120 pages with each page equal to a minute on the movie screen.

I took two courses in screenplay writing. My teacher was a man who wrote all the screenplays for Moonlighting with Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis. Because they hated one another, their show was prematurely canceled after only a few seasons.

What I learned from writing screenplays is that the writer writes mostly dialogue with little narrative and/or backstory. When the screenplay is finished, the work is up to the director's and/or actor's interpretation. They use your screenplay to launch what more they want to do with it and where to take it.

Suffice to say, I prefer writing novels. I prefer no one taking literary freedom with my work. Nonetheless, you can earn a great deal of money from writing a good screenplay.

Good luck finding a screenplay writer for your project.

Asking if anyone wants to be paid for writing something isn't anything like advertising that you will write something for someone for pay.

Upon review of the thread from story ideas, which was removed, I believe this thread crosses the line between providing opportunities to Lit authors and advertising.

For future reference, posting a link to the completed work, as suggested in the first post, also breaks a rule. Members who have no approved stories on Literotica cannot link to offsite work.
