Well, I think the answer to the title is an obvious "no" for most normal people, so I'll get to the real point.

It seems that that generation is not necessarily going to be the "future" forever. In fact, already we're seeing indications of clear differences between them and Generation Z which is coming up now. The idea that all youth forever will be just like Gen Y is already being proven untrue.

Although not the main point of the following article, what jumped out at me was the following statement:

...Today’s teens are “radically different” from other generations, including Millennials now in their 20s, because they are rejecting uniforms, according to Marcie Merriman, founder of retail and brand strategy consultancy PrimalGrowth in Columbus, Ohio...

(note: "Millennial" is PC speak for Gen Y)

Of course, it doesn't mean that Gen Z is going to necessarily be culturally conservative and not be such gay lovin' Obama worshipers, but at least thinking for themselves and not "going along with the crowd" is a step in the right direction from their older siblings.

Over the past years, I have employed quite a few GenY'rs and with very few exceptions found them to be intelligent, hard working and resourceful.

People born in 1987 are much nicer than those born in 1984 or 1985. However, when it comes to hard work no one is better than 1986, 1989 or 1990 birthers.

Overall 1982 and 1988 have been the most disappointing but the 1982s have improved tremendously as citizens, workers and defenders of our freedoms. Still, they have a long way to go to catch up with the 1987s.

For the money, you can't beat a '56. Goes anywhere, does anything and always brings you back.

Sure. But the latter half of '56 is still very unproven. My guess is that they are closeted '57s.

"Thinking for themselves" = Reverting back to the good ol' days when RR could go lynch a nigger or queer for shitz n' giggles on a Friday or Saturday night. Never on Sunday though....

Yea RR....that's going to happen
