We had one in our town, it was at a x-rated shop and the drive in was in the back. the place was really hoppin on the weekends in more ways than one. windows were all steamed up and cars were rocking. If you needed toys or more stimuli, the open all night toy store was right there and they sold alot more than popcorn.
Here in California in a small university town west of Sacramento there was an adult drive-in that operated for years until the 1980's. The drive-in was called the "Westlane Drive-In" and was located just off Interstate #80 west of Sacramento in the town of Davis. The drive-in was located in a predominantly agricultural area in flat open space east of town. If you drove down Interstate #80 and tilted your head just right as you drove by, you could catch a provocative blur from the screen at the drive-in. It was definitely the hot place to go for college students as well as teens looking for action.
What is funny is that after the drive-in closed in the 80's, it was torn down for soccer fields and a wildlife refuge. Feel free to insert your favorite scoring and wildlife joke here...
Here is a local article on the drive-in:

Good times...good times...
PS: Linda Lovelace was in Deep Throat, not Marilyn Chambers (RIP)...

I remember my parents talking about this.
They had gone with the couple next door to the local Drive In to see "DeepThroat".
Gosh it must have been about 30 yrs ago.
