I am curious, has anyone ever been recognized in public, or by a friend from a picture they posted on lit? If not, do you worry about it? Also, how many folks refuse to post any pictures of themselves because of this?

you'd be surprised how many people in my mythology class recognized me from this damn picture.

If I posted RL picture, the PC would crash, but I'm not afraid because someone might recognize me!

After everyone see this one I'm sure they will be beating my door down!

I KNOW I have seen those tits somewhere. Hmmmm.

I've seen you before. That horseshoe AV looked very familiar.

2+2=5, so don't try to pull one over my eyes.

Whats to be afraid of with someone recognizing you? I mean its not like someones going to decide when they see you, to come jump up and down on you and beat you with a baseball bat...

thats not actually far from the truth

there are weirdo's out there and by that nature their probably are some strange weirdo's here also ... and being stalked in real life isn't very nice

and worse things happen then phone calls in the middle of the night

there aren't that many people here at Lit who show themselves, especially their faces. So I'd tend to think no one or less than .25% will/would ever get recognized. If people are recognized by body parts, then maybe some of us would be in "trouble". But then those people doing the recognizing, could possibly be considered hypocrites if they made a big deal of the other person being on this site.

Shit that's almost too deep for this early in the day. I'm off to the shower. ;)

It's a concern I do have and it's why I took my face AV down. With my luck, one of my BILs would find this site and recognize me.
I prefer to keep my pervy side seperate from my family.
;)

I think the really interesting, though obviously bizare situation would be to have another lit reader recognize you in public and go: "Wholly shit, your so-in-so!"

The other aspects is of course the wacko equation and the signifigant other equation for some.

After reading about the Miss North Carolina flap, I realized that several people downloaded my pics when they were up.

*sigh*

Oh, well. I guess I'll just have to adjust to a life of anonymity. Scrap those plans for world domination.
