Have you done art besides writing?

In grade school I acted a bit. I was stage crew on Peter Pan, Fools, and Dracula. I also played Archangel Michael in a Noah’s Ark play and the Norse Muse God Frey in a Thor & Giants play at a Waldorf school. Some people have also accused me of acting like other legendary trickster characters at times. I just do it for laughs. I can do comedy, but not everyone gets my sense of humor.

I have also dabbled in singing, painting, and drawing but never gotten serious about these things. I ran track in high school and have practiced mixed martial arts all my life. Mom tried to get me to learn the piano once. Didn’t work. I can cook and mix drinks as well as most people. And I’m an excellent driver.

I sang in choirs from the age of seven until my late twenties, played (and still play) piano, violin and the great highland bagpipes.
Was involved in most school plays from secondary school onwards
I also studied art as one of my subjects for Matric (home country equivalent of A-levels / final school exams) - can't draw people to save my life but was pretty good at landscapes / still lives.

I acted a very long time ago, I'm learning to draw and still trying to find my style (which is veering towards the cartoony) but I haven't hated everything I've drawn which feels like progress.

I paint, mostly watercolor and acrylics. I took photography for a few years, and I love to take pictures. I play a few instruments, too.

I write songs, all kinds of styles. I'm well versed in music theory and actually better at songwriting than prose.

In addition to writing, I've created a number of adult board/card games. Only ever shared them with husband though.
Somehow I'm more creative whenever sex is involved.. :)

Some. In grade school I did a little acting in plays, but I wasn't much of an actor. I've played a few musical instruments over the years. I am a decent drawer. Probably my best artistic talent outside of writing is sculpting dinosaurs out of clay or wax. It's kind of a fun parlor trick that surprises people.

I was an active photographer for many years until the pandemic started and I pretty much quit because I was burned out on it. I still shoot the occasional fireworks and waterfall, and take a trip to leaf peep every year.

Yes, and a restraining order was immediately issued to prevent me from doing it again ...

I played the piano and I used to love sketching portraits but for the past couple years writing has been my sole creative outlet.

I have sung and acted on stage since trained in the children's ensemble at the Arena Stage on Washington, D.C.'s, waterfront. A few on-camera background stints in movies and other consulting and work on movies. I have designed sets and posters for stage productions. I also paint on rice paper with gouache, using a Chinese brush-painting minimalist style, and have thus painted our Christmas Cards for the last forty-seven years (100+ cards painted individually each year).

If only I could get men to stick money in my underpants for my prose.
There's an untapped market out there for a pole dancing bookseller. Delivering literacy and arousal in equal measure and only accepts book payments in $10 bills in the underpants. This could change the way that book launch campaigns are done.

Drawing. I took classes some years ago and was making good progress, but life intervened and the skill has languished.
Writing remains my principal artistic outlet.

See: sig line. Played professionally on those and other wind instruments, too, mostly with small symphony orchestras.

I shared this thread with my wife, who just said, "Tell them that I rate guys' kisses by telling them which instrument they played in school."

Problem is, she's frequently right. She added, "And I can tell you which ones played violin or piano."
