Long enough to know that the original first line was:-

"I've been humpin' my bluey on the dusty Oodnadatta road."

It was written by an almost unknown Australian singer called Geoff Mack in 1959 and having been translated into over 100 languages the one song has paid Mack sufficient royalties to live a comfortable life to the present day.
