Have We Met?

There was a thread similar to this on one of the other forums, but that was more concerned with "hooking up". Here, I'm just asking how many of you have actually met someone that you had previously only known from Literotica.

You can provide as much detail or lack thereof as you'd like - whether you just had lunch, you met the love of your life, or you had a one night stand. Have you met anyone from here face to face?

Aye...

I've met a couple fellows from Lit face-to-face before, when I was on my trip to DC! No wild sex, no love of my life, just a couple really cool guys that I had a fabulous time with. Good food, good conversation, good company...and a DAMN good hockey game!!
(Hrm, should I "out" them?? hehehe)
Druce baby gave me my first Christmas present by taking me to a Caps/Pens game!! I think I reverted to about 10-year-old status, but I had an awesome time and it was a phenomenal game! MUCH better than watching it on TV! He's a pure gentleman and I really enjoyed the times we got to hang out.
JazzManJim is a riot and a half, a crazy driver, and a freak like me on many levels. We share a really quirky sense of humour and pretty much kept in stitches every time we hung out. And hey, he's the reason I got on the Metro for the first time, which was just a cool experience!!

I've probably met over a hundred people face to face that I originally met online over the years, and have had damn good luck with them not being psychos. These two kept the stats up as well! hehehe. I'm actually looking forward to meeting more folks eventually, probably most on my trip to my port call for Germany. The people here are really cool for the most part, on a level far above just tits n ass. There are a great many I would love to share a good cuppa' with and a few hours of chat. And perhaps, even a couple I would sit there and have the most evil thoughts about... *g* Eh, what can I say, I'm a people kinda person! I like to live, I like to spend time with great people, and I look forward to the opportunity to meet more of ya'll! Maybe I can dub it Mae's Great Literotica Tour '02! hahahaha....

I've met a few people over the years that I first met online, but none from Literotica. I had one HORRIBLE experience, a few good ones, and one VERY GOOD one.

I've met more than my fair share of people online, IRL...from lit, only one. Personally I've got no qualms about meeting people from the online realms. After all, I'm the same crazy, goofball in person that I am here. And lord knows I wouldn't freak out oo much if any of the lovely ladies of lit "magically" appeared on my doorstep. I might spend several minutes drooling on myself, but I certainly wouldn't OBJECT.

BE NICE! But I do get around, miles wise *g*...I'm a wanderlusting, travelling fool There's a reason I nailed almost 30k miles on my jeep the first year I had it...the call of the open road is bewitching!

Hi Raw, long time no see (what, about 3 minutes now). I've never met anyone from Lit in RL. I'd like to, I've only really be posting for a month and a half and haven't made any "dates". I've been hesitant only because I like to get to know someone pretty well before I meet them in RL. That combined with the fact that I travel a lot and there isn't much free time left. You can get to know someone pretty well through the boards.

I asked a couple guys that live in the next town over to get together for beers, but they both said they wanted to keep their anonymity.

well i met my Brett online first. we've been together a while now, 6 month anniversary will be shortly, on the 27th.

even though we still dont live in the same damn city, i like to think we're pretty happy together. we have plans to get closer together in a year, maybe less. i cant wait till the next time i see my boy, a whole week at the end of march, im all excited already!

i think that u really do have to be careful with people u meet online first, u never really do know who could be nuts and what not, but if u find some one u love, and they dont cut ur head off and leave u in a ditch, then all the power to ya ! all i know is i love my brett more then the earth loves the stars, and i have the internet to thank for bringing us together.
so ya, theres two sides to everything, i hope every one else who has plans to meet people thru the net are as fortunate as i was.

and with regards to Mae getting around, damnit gurl u think u could get around to MY front door on Vancouver Island any time soon?!?!
