Have Significant Others Contacted YOU?

2. Yes, I have had more than one significant other contact me concerning their partner's activities on Lit.

3. No, nobody has ever contacted me via pm, email, or phone about a significant other's activities on Lit.

4. No, nobody has ever contacted me via pm, email, or phone about anybody here at lit that I did not interact with.

5. No, nobody has ever contacted me via pm, email, or phone about anybody here at lit.

Out of curiosity I am interersted to see how many 3-D (real life) significant others lurking within Lit have literally contacted another poster concerning their partner. This is not including posters who interact with each other, but real life significant others.

Lurkers feel free to post. I am also asking that you do not mention any names as we all know things have a way of coming back to haunt another. No conversation is needed here just your vote.

There is no doubt that Significant others lurking have contacted some from here concerning their love interest. I do find the chances of being contacted by different S/O would be slim and highly unlikely, however if one plays the field that is a different scenerio.

I don't think that there's any way to account for it within your poll. And the only way to do it at all would be to name names, which would be SERIOUSLY inappropriate.

Basically, presuming everyone's telling the truth (which is true of every post/poll here, not just this one) the only thing we can assume is that 2 SO's (or one with multiple nicks) have contacted people about their spouses/SO's here at Lit.

Another interesting question would be, for the ones who've made contact (*snickers* sounds like an alien visitation when I put it that way lol!) were the SO's in question ALSO Lit members or were they lurking spouses whose supposedly errant SO's were unaware of their presence?

It's ALL bullshit. If S.O.'s were contacting people who were flirting or having affairs with their wives or husbands, then it wouldn't be just the troublemakers here, that they were contacting.

If you got a PM, and you are sharing the info, then it's basically like sharing any other PM. They are supposed to be PRIVATE, thus the name "Private Message". People "breaking in" or being given access to others' PM's and reading them and sharing the info are as bad or worse. They know who they are, they are in the same category as Lance and a certain few others here.

I do believe that there are significant others that lurk or participate here. I have heard from others in the past of so and so contacted so and so or I can't post/chat anymore cause my S/O does not want me to or reads it.

It does happen. I do not believe it happens to the extent that some are making it out to be. Basically honesty is the best policy.

Definitely with you on the no naming of names. That would cross a line. The results are interesting and at least one S/O sending out multiple contacts has to be taken into account.

Another thought that came to mind is what if a person was just trying to bait another. The "suppose" significant other isn't. It is just another poster playing head games.
