Please let K know, when you get a chance, that he is in our thoughts, as are all our service men and women both at home and abroad, not just today, but every day. My years of service were short - and thankfully, safe - but my father was an Army lifer, and I know and remember that all those who serve, in whatever capacity, are the foundation of our lives and our freedoms.

Hmmm maybe I should have found a replacement. I am a veteran as well.

Maybe this is what I should have done yesterday instead of the self pity party after being released. All I have really learned that the gift of submission is only a gift if appreciated.
