I'm pretty fed up with you writers-in-seek-of editors bitching about the on-going antics of the long-time editors when you can't follow a few simple rules.

1. If you seek me as an editor, claim me.

2. State, here, the details of your story -- et al length in words, forum, etc.

3. Do not contact me by PM. How do other eds know we established a resolutin here?

I can help a few, but only if you first "claim" me here. If you contact me and I see mo "claim" posted, then you lose.

And don't PM me without staking a claim.

Something on your mind AS? You should just come right out and say it, otherwise how are we meant to know? ;-)

What I am saying is that I am available to edit a few stories. But what annoys me to no end is when the PM system is used exclusively. In other words an offer goes out and that is the end of it.

Therefore all I require for donating my time and limited expertise is for a writer to announce in a post on my thread that he/she/it seeks to take advantage of my offer, then to PM me after which I will return a PM with my emial address.

Was it really all that complicated?

I lined it out step by step.

Oh, okay. Maybe missed a step, thanks for letting me know.

It's not you, it's me, sorry.

Sometimes I forget my English sarcasm doesn't translate very well, particularly in writing.

As you were, everyone.

Forget it. I had been previously wasting valuable time nitpicking others. And then a writer suggested our time could be better spent helping others.

This was my attempt to do so, and has been unsuccessful.

Therefore clear this thread from your minds.

Hello,

I'd like to take advantage of your offer, if you're still available.

My story is going to be rather long, probably around 5,000 words, but easily divides into defined segments, so you don't have to edit it all. It will probably be in erotic couplings or group sex.

The story isn't completed, but I'd like to get an editor to look at the story and give me some feedback.

I'll PM you now. Thanks.
