Has anyone been getting hate mail/feedback these past couple of weeks? It’s getting pretty nasty and maybe we should start to track who’s sending it. Some of the readers are unable to separate the fictional world with reality and one of these readers might be the next gun shooting wacko.

I looked at your submissions and see that most of your's are in Loving Wives. That's the haven for weirdo trolls. Try to find another category to submit them in and it'll probably stop.

I have a couple of new stories that i will post soon in the group and fetish categories. what bothers me, is the tone of the emails. today's emails were by the same person but not sure about last week's. this person is very unballanced and needs to get on some meds before we see him on the news

the emails, are worse. if this nut sent the note via mail instead of email he would be in Jail! He makes Michael Richards look like a poster child for race relations. This guy that is emailing me is way out there, nuts! he's lost his mind

Those remarks are aimed at your gender. I got similar crap with mine, but written to a male. 'faggot, idiot, scumbag,' those kind of references. There are a few of them out there. All are sick, uneducated, and just trying to rile you. Fortunately, he isn't smart enough to know how to find you in real life.

LW, Gay, NC/R, and Interratial are absolutely packed with unbalanced individuals. Any time you write a story in those cats, you're almost guranteed a beating from one of them.

Depending on the fetish, you could be in for some nasty emails there too. Depends on how out there the fetish is.

I embrace my hate mail. I enjoy it immensely. Especially when they mispell their ramblings concerning the quality of the writing and my ability as a writer. Good grammar is optional in hate mail, but it really is frowned upon.

But they get their jollies from bashing authors. If they left, they couldn't do that. It's their life. Their existence. They may not like the stories, but they like to bash the writers. Remember, these are uneducated trolls. And they stroke their pitiful egos by doing what they do. If you submit in the categories they frequent, those with a lot of graphic sex, they stroke to that and then bash the writer.

Half of them don't even read the stories. I've seen (and received) "More of the same filthy shit, won't waste my time reading" type comments numerous times.
Some of the comments are out of fear (you got them excited and they think that makes them a pervert); some out of hate (reminds them of something that happened in their sad little lives) and some, I'm sure, is out of jealousy (they wish they could write like that and can't).
And some just can't stand to see someone being different to them. They think if they bash us hard enough we'll give up and not make them look inferior - it's the schoolboy/girl bully mentality.

I believe Loving Wives is haunted by hundreds of seemingly normal individuals who's wives have cheated on them. They are unable to separate their own shoddy lives from the fiction in front of their eyes.

They read that catagory because it makes them feel better about themselves and their own tiny crystalin egos to see someone else being cheated on and at the same time outraged at their own misfortune.
