Should this thread not be elsewhere? I don't think it should be in the GLBT Chatter forum.

I will follow through on the morning. But ponder and pose this.

Leading a vanilla life I do write BDSM stories. I research, read and
talk to those who are living BDSM. I try to be as 'spot on' as possible. Understanding that those who are BDSMers may feel affronted by a nilla writing BDSM stories.

I still write them because I enjoy doing so.

I can see that coming up in this forum. Suppose a straight literotica writer's work were proposed to be excerpted here, since the work was of 'gay erotica', and for one reason or another, be it political or personal, the author refused permission.
Pure, despite your paragraph about this type of thing coming up in this forum, I get the feeling that your post is more intended to draw attention to your problem elsewhere than to actually start discussion about the possibility of it happening here. Please explain why you feel this thread belongs here. I'm tempted to move it for being off-topic, but I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt and give you the opportunity to make it more relevant to this forum.

I don't know anything about the poster or the author's in question, but it appears as if Pure started his thread in the BDSM Forum in order to take shots at people he doesn't like. He did give it a bit of GLBT spin, but I don't appreciate him bringing his fights here.

It's pretty hard to get into the 'motives' thing, and 'prove' morality. Maybe mine are as evil as Perd says, or mixed or 'pure'.

I think the issue might arise, even yes, if it would take a nasty guy like me, but there are such, ya know. And 'character' (as it's believed to be) shouldn't be the basis of any rules or ruling--I give Catalina credit for that.

So I shall take it down, as recommended by you.

Best,
J.

Interesting how Pure came up with this idea of his having anything to do with me (especially as I am far from his favourite person) as when asked about my thoughts on his thread in BDSM Talk, I was clear, rules or no rules, I did not think it necessary or appropriate to use the stories of people he did not have the common courtesy to ask permission of, and obviously had some problem with personally....not to mention there is a story discussion area on Lit already.

I'm not sure if you saw the original posting, Catalina. It made clear that while you thought no rule was broken, the practice in general would be rude. I don't know where 'having something to do with you" came from: But yes, there's little contact, and much ill will.

If you or anyone carries this further, here. I will re post the original, so as to prevent --or give the lie to--misleading postings like this one.

So now you resort to threats?!! Pure, I do not think this type behaviour is needed or appreciated in this forum, or anywhere on Lit for that matter. You lament the way people see you and react to you....do you not stop and see why? You did not need to come to this forum, Etoile called you correctly on your reasons, why not just leave and keep it free of your venom? As to misleading posts, well we know who proudly wears the crown for that don't we, and before you begin to splutter in indignation, you have on many occasions in various ways admitted your clever editing skills when quoting the words of others.....and as many know, this is why you have met with trouble on every forum of Lit you have visited. Is that why you came here....sort of a last frontier?

No, actually, you won't.

Q closed this thread of his own accord, but I wanted to add a follow-up post. Pure asked me to close this thread for valid reasons of his own, and I was going to do so before finding that Q already had. I just wanted to post this to make that point.
